THE INFLUENCE OF TOURISM FACILITIES AND SERVICE QUALITY ONTOURIST SATISFACTION AT THE UJONG MEPAR CAMPING GROUNDTOURIST ATTRACTION, CENTRAL ACEH REGENCY

Abstract

Over the past year, tourist visits to the Ujong Mepar Camping Ground in Central Aceh Regency have declined. This is thought to be due to limited facilities and service quality. This study aims to determine the effect of tourist facilities and service quality on tourist satisfaction, using a quantitative associative approach. Data were collected from 96 respondents via questionnaire and analyzed using inferential statistics using multiple regression and correlation analysis. The results indicate that: (1) Individually, the factors of tourism facilities and service quality have a significant impact on tourist satisfaction. (2) Simultaneously, these factors contribute positively to enhancing tourist satisfaction at the Ujong Mepar Camping Ground, albeit accounting for only 41% of the influence; this implies the existence of numerous other determining factors. Consideration must also be given to the hydrometeorological disaster that affected the area in late 2025.
