Abstract

Stunting is a condition of abnormal growth and development process of toddlers due to malnutrition in the womb, so it is necessary to improve nutrition through the intake of food ingredients such as avocados. The aimed of this service activity was to increase the insight of pregnant women and expectant mothers about the importance of balanced nutrition for preventing stunting from an early age and skills in preparing healthy food. The service activities were carried out at the Wih Bersih Village Maternity Center (Polindes), Silih Nara sub-district, Central Aceh Regency using the method of socializing and demonstration. The results of this activity showed increasing knowledge of mothers and expectant mothers about stunting prevention and the community's ability to process avocados into pudding as additional nutritional intake for pregnant women. This knowledge and skills can be used as a business start-up to meet people's living needs, so that cases of stunting that occur can be minimized.
