Analysis Of Occupational Safety And Health Implementation In The Structural Improvement Project Krueng Simpo – Blang Mane Road, Bireuen Regency

Abstract

Employment providers such as construction companies must maintain and care for employee health, this term includes the physical and mental health of workers. Poor worker health can have an unfavorable effect on both worker and company. Occupational health programs can be carried out by creating a healthy work environment. In its implementation, the occupational health program are always accompanied by an occupational safety programs, because the two programs are interrelated in the maintaining workers. Occupational safety is safety related to the use of machines, work tools, materials and processing, the workplace and its environment and procedures. Occupational safety and health can make workers feel comfortable, safe and peaceful in carrying out the work. The purpose of this study was to determine the percentage of Occupational Safety and Health (K3) and the level of worker comfort at PT. Kota Metro Dollar on the road Structure improvement project of Krueng Simpo-Blang Mane in Bireuen regancy. The method used in the study was a qualitative method wich included survey, distributing questionnaires to 22 respondents and interviews and quantitative methods in data processing using Microsoft Excel and SPSS v.25 software. The results of this research indicated that Occupational Safety and Health and worker Comfort at PT. Metro Dollar City on the structure inprovement project of Krueng Simpo-Blang Mane in Bireuen regency was very comfortable. It can be seen from the results of the Occupational Safety and Health data processing which obtained 58.2% of respondents. The reliability test using SPSS v.25 was 0.868, 0.885 and 0.800 respectively. The highest mean was 3.53 from the occupational safety and health variable. The result of the validity test stated that r count (0.457-0.882) > r table (0.432) meant that all statements were valid
