About the Journal
Jurnal Rekayasa Teknik dan Teknologi (REKATEK) is a scientific journal published by the Faculty of Engineering, Al Muslim University Bireuen Aceh with p-ISSN 2407-8123 and e-ISSN 2828-6979. Jurnal Rekayasa Teknik dan Teknologi (REKATEK) in English is Journal of Engineering and Technology (REKATEK) which has the aim of disseminating research results related to the fields of civil and architectural engineering, where readers of this journal are expected from civil and architectural engineering researchers / scientists, students of related fields, engineers, and practitioners. The review process uses a Double Blind Review system, meaning that the authors and reviewers do not know each other.
Jurnal Rekayasa Teknik dan Teknologi (REKATEK) was established in 2015, with the first edition of Volume 1 Number 1, January 2015. Since then, it has been publishing on OJS 2. As of January 2019, the journal publishing period has used OJS 3 until now so that the publication process is more rigorous and allows the editorial board to improve journal performance.
Jurnal Rekayasa Teknik dan Teknologi (REKATEK) publishes scientific articles in the field of civil engineering and architecture, as follows.

Jurnal Rekayasa Teknik dan Teknologi (REKATEK) provides direct open access to any available content with the principle that opening any research/publication/journal/manuscript/scientific article to the public is an effort to support the global dissemination of knowledge.
Jurnal Rekayasa Teknik dan Teknologi (REKATEK) has implemented Open Journal Systems (OJS) for all publishing processes. Therefore, authors are required to register in advance and upload manuscripts online. Registration and login are required to submit the manuscript online and to check the current status of the manuscript. The manuscript process can be monitored through OJS by authors, editors, reviewers, and readers in real time for all manuscripts.

Manuscript Submission Jurnal Rekayasa Teknik dan Teknologi (REKATEK) processes all manuscripts through the Open Journal System (OJS). We invite authors to submit manuscripts, and accept manuscripts throughout the year. A manuscript submission letter will be automatically sent to the author via Email. The manuscript process can be monitored through OJS. Manuscripts will undergo peer review and editorial review before being accepted for publication. Authors who want to submit articles must follow the templates and guidelines for authors that have been determined by the journal manager. Jurnal Rekayasa Teknik dan Teknologi (REKATEK) checks plagiarism using the Turnitin application.
Frequency of Publication Jurnal Rekayasa Teknik dan Teknologi (REKATEK) is published twice a year in January and July. Each publication consists of 8 to 15 titles, consisting of 60-100 pages.
Open Access Policy Jurnal Rekayasa Teknik dan Teknologi (REKATEK) provides open access which in principle makes articles freely available to the public and will support the largest global exchange of knowledge. All articles in the urnal Rekayasa Teknik dan Teknologi (REKATEK) are published with open access.
