Peer Review Process

Jurnal Rekayasa Teknik dan Teknologi (REKATEK) has the following review policy:

Jurnal Rekayasa Teknik dan Teknologi (REKATEK) implements the following review process policy:

1. Manuscripts sent by authors will go through a pre-review process by the Editor Team, especially checking the suitability of the manuscript with the scope of the journal, conformity with the journal template and similarity check using Turnitin. In this process, the editor will establish communication with the author so that the manuscript is eligible to be sent to the reviewer or even returned/declined.
2. Manuscripts that have passed the first step above are then sent to two or more reviewers using the double blind peer review method.
3. The review process will consider novelty, objectivity, methods, scientific impact, conclusions and references.
4. Reviewers will suggest articles in 4 categories, namely:
    
   1. Reject - Rejected manuscripts will not be published and authors will not have the opportunity to resubmit a revised version of the manuscript to the Journal of Agricultural Science.
   2. Revisons required - The manuscript requires minor revisions.
   3. Resubmit for Review - The manuscript must be resubmitted but with significant changes, then the manuscript can be accepted. The revised manuscript will be sent back to the reviewer.
   4. Accept- The manuscript is accepted.

5. The Technical Editors and Editorial Board will decide by considering the suggestions from the reviewers whether the manuscript meets the requirements of Agroteknika Journal to be published.

6. The decision of the Editors is final.
