HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN REMAJA PUTRI TERHADAP KEPATUHAN KONSUMSI TABET FE DI POSYANDU REMAJA SEHATI DESA ALUE GENTENG
Abstrak
Anemia can occur due to iron deficiency. Millions of women will experience health and quality of life problems if anemia reduction is not carried out. It can also interfere with a child's development and learning process. In 2019, there were 29.9% anemia in women of childbearing age worldwide, equivalent to more than half a billion women aged 15-49 years. Anemia was also found in 29.6% of non-pregnant women of childbearing age and 36.5% of pregnant women. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between knowledge of young women and adherence to consumption of Fe tablets at the Sehati Youth Posyandu, Alue Genteng Village, Ranto Peureulak District. East Aceh Regency. This research is an observational study with a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study were young women who came to the Posyandu in December 2022, using total sampling, namely all young women who attended the Posyandu as a sample of 56 people. The results of the chi-squre test obtained a p-value <0. 05 showed that there is a relationship between knowledge of young women and adherence to consumption of Fe tablets. To prevent anemia, teenagers should continue to take iron tablets. To do so, they can continue to increase their knowledge by attending health classes and counseling on this issue. As well as involving parents, peers who are the closest environment for young women and health workers.
