PENGARUH KONSENTRASI PUPUK ORGANIK CAIR TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL BEBERAPA VARIETAS KEDELAI BERUMUR GENJAH

Abstract

Soybean is one of the most important crop in Indonesia. It is the third food crop after rice and corn, which are rich in protein content. Improving the quality and production of soybeans can be done by fertilizing and using appropriate high yielding varieties. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of liquid organic fertilizer concentrations and varieties on the growth and yield of soybeans. The results showed that the liquid organic fertilizer significantly affects the weight of seeds/plants and does not significantly affect other variables. The best concentration of liquid organic fertilizer is 8 ml/L of water. Variety significantly affected the plant height at 21, 42 day after planting, harvest height, age of flowering, age of harvest, number of pods/plants, weight of 100 seeds /plant, weight of seeds/plot, production (tons/ha). Dena 1 variety is the best high yielding variety than other varieties, which have seed weight 21.95 g/plant and production 2.11 tons /ha. There was no interaction between the treatment of liquid organic fertilizer and varieties on the growth and yield of soybean varieties.
