Arwana: Jurnal Ilmiah Program Studi Perairan

Arwana: Jurnal Ilmiah Program Studi Perairan (Arwana: Scientific Journal of Aquatic Sciences) is an OJS 3 journal published by the Aquaculture Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Almuslim University, Bireuen Aceh with the number p-ISSN 2657-0254 (print), e-ISSN 2797-3530 (online) and accredited Sinta 3 (Number 204/E/KPT/2022). Articles published in this journal are the results of research by lecturers and students in the fields of Aquaculture and Fisheries and were published for the first time on May 30, 2019 using OJS 2. Arwana Journal publishes two editions each year, in May and November each year. Every journal published goes through a double-blind review process in the process of reviewing an article to be presented where an article is assessed by two reviewers who do not know the identity of the author. Arwana is an article in the form of research results, and conceptual articles covering fisheries science fisheries, namely: Aquaculture, Fisheries Resources, Fisheries Socio-Economics, Fisheries Technology, Fisheries and Marine Biology.

Arwana provides direct open access to any available content with the principle that opening up any research / publication / journal / scientific paper / article to the public is an effort to support the global dissemination of knowledge.
Arwana has implemented Open Journal Systems (OJS) for all publishing processes. Therefore, authors are required to register in advance and upload manuscripts online. Registration and login are required to enter the manuscript and its completeness online and to check the current status of the manuscript. The manuscript process can be monitored through OJS by authors, editors, reviewers, and readers in real time for all manuscripts.
Manuscript Submission Arwana processes all manuscripts through the Open Journal System (OJS). We invite authors to submit manuscripts, accepting manuscripts throughout the year. A manuscript submission letter will be automatically sent to the author via Email. The manuscript process can be monitored through OJS. Manuscripts will undergo peer review and editorial review before being accepted for publication.
Publication Frequency Arwana is published twice a year in May and November. Each issue consists of 6 to 15 titles, consisting of 60-100 pages.
Arwana's Open Access Policy provides open access which in principle makes articles available free of charge to the public and will support the largest global exchange of knowledge. All articles in Arwana Journal are published with open access.
